Ready for Schlitterbahn in KC

We stopped in Kansas City on our way home for some more fun. We took Harry to his first Major League Baseball game and boy did he LOVE it! He cheered, clapped and yelled like he understood everything that was going on. We had hot dogs and peanuts for dinner and even bought him his own little bat & ball. He had a great time and the ballpark was beautiful.
The next morning we stopped in at the Harry S Truman Library and museum. Our Harry wasn't too excited about this so we made a quick run through the museum. It was interesting and Joe & I decided we should come back to KC without kiddos next time ; )
Now for the best part - we went to the new Schlitterbahn Waterpark. It was really nice and will be really cool when they get it all finished over the next couple years. They had some fun kid areas with lots of slides for Harry. They even have a heated pool with a swim up bar (nice) attached to the pool with the pirate ship for Harry to play. We took Harry on the Master Blaster (uphill water coaster) and he smiled the whole way down. He really enjoyed the giant wave pool/river too. It wasn't very crowded at all and we had an awesome time.
