Harry and his Buddy
Chew, Chew, Chew
Taking his Buddy for a stroll
We had a pleasant surprise this weekend, when Harry asked to go to Mor Mor's (Kay's mom) house and she gladly said, "I'll meet you in Kingfisher." So we packed an overnight bag and had a quick bite with Grandma (Joe's mom) at Jimmy's Egg. Harry loves bacon and eggs and pancakes with syrup. Kinda strange since that was the one absolute smell that made me want to vomit my whole pregnancy with him. After breakfast, we took Harry across the street to play with the Train Engine (At Dental Depot). He loved pulling the whistle and ringing the bell. It was awfully cold so we hurried back to the warmth of the car and we were off to Mor Mor's.
From the report we received, Harrison was actually a really sweet boy this visit - No Time Outs, Yeah! He played with our old kitchen and made some lunch for a My Buddy Doll. He strapped the doll in a chair and served him food. As he brought the plates over he would say, "Chew, chew, chew." A little phrase he learned from the Glover side. He would set little plates down on the tray and say, "your welcome." Sounded very cute - sorry we weren't there in person to see it but we sure enjoyed our time without the toddler.
Joe and I ran some errands and then ate dinner at a mexican restaurant called Ole'. We also saw a movie for the first time in like forever. We saw "Defiance" and it was actually a very good pick for Joe (we usually don't agree on what to see, hence we don't get out much). Definitely would recommend it. It's based during World War II and follows some Jewish Brothers hiding in the forest from the Germans. It's kinda like an underground railroad/ robin hood movie. Not too intense, but showed a great message about faith and human spirit.

I think Mor Mor made that mess because sweet baby Harry would never do that.

My buddy and me like to climb up a tree...oh, shoot, I can picture the commercial but I can't remember any more of the jingle.
