Winding up for the pitch

It was a beautiful Oklahoma day today so Harry and I played outside after lunch. He played in the sandbox, played basketball, chased Ruby around the yard with a stick, and went down the slide a couple times. Nice weather - 60 degrees - not what you would expect for the end of December. This morning we had our follow up appointment for Harrison's surgery earlier this month. He passed his hearing screen and the tubes in his ears seem to be working great. He's still recovering from the adenoidectomy, but is definitely feeling better. He did so well for Dr Richards, that he got two stickers. Of course he chose a fire truck and an Elmo sticker - no surprise there, right? We don't have to go back until next September, granted we don't have any problems before then. Hopefully, this will be all he needed.
