Harry painted a tree this year and we stapled rings to it so he could countdown to Christmas. Every night before bed he pulls one link off the chain and then we count the days until Christmas. Every night he gets a smile on his face and says,"it's getting closer". Can't wait for Christmas this year, it'll be such a fun age for him.

We also went to the Mercy(my work) Children's Christmas party on Saturday. Harry picked out a candy cane and we made a snowman picture frame. He also picked out a Giraffe stuffed animal for his gift. As you can see, he wasn't too sure of Santa. He just stared him down while we waited in line. When it was his turn, he didn't want to sit on his lap, but instead hid behind my leg. He peered around my leg and gave Santa a high five, but that was about the extent of his interaction with the jolly old man. Oh well, maybe next year.
